PL Travel: Painted Desert with Victoria

If you haven't heard of the Painted Desert, it is a sight worth seeing. This weekend, my friends and I decided to take a road trip out to Arizona to see all the beautiful landscapes. Along the way, we filmed a short film of the journey for memory :) (coming soon!).

For more info about The Painted Desert, it extends from the Grand Canyon in a southeasterly direction along the north side of the Little Colorado River to Holbrook. Over the course of 17,000,000 years, the desert has developed colors banded with vivid red, yellow, blue, white, and lavender. At times the air glows with a pink mist or purple haze of desert dust. It is a must-see to add to your bucket list.

This road trip was more than worth it. Being able to share beautiful experiences in life with the people you love is a treasure that will always be remembered.

Escaping from all the buildings, cars and concrete of LA to enjoy open plains and fresh air was also a plus ;)

Plan a road trip with your family, friends or significant other! Be adventurous and appreciate the beautiful planet we live on. Nature is an incredible part of life that will always bring you peace of mind.

We made a stop on the side of the road to see the view of the horizon. It's nice to be surrounded by quiet open land and fresh air :)

Climbing over the hills was a tough workout, but was well worth it.

Strong winds coming in from the desert before the sunset. There was even lightning!

The short film is soon to come! Knowing that the journey would be an amazing one, we wanted to capture the adventure to keep for memory. "Free Bird" living life to the fullest :) filmed by Matt Robertson
